Watchos 12 could play nicely with older Apple Watch models

Apple reportedly does not plan to save support for older Apple Watch with Watchos 12 (or Watchos 26). The escape indicates that the upcoming Watchos edition will be supported by the Apple Watch Series 6 and the newer models – as well as the Watchos 11.

Watchos 12 may not cut off any Apple Watch models

Watchos 11 Currently Apple Watch is supported (2 gene), Apple Watch Series 6 and all newer models have been running since then. Both models were launched in 2020 and will be five years old in September. Despite their age, Apple will assume that it is supported by Watchos 12/Watchos 26.

A private X -known account known for its exact leaks Apple says that Watchos 26 will support the same models as Watchos 11. Macrumory Source has also confirmed that Apple will change the style of its operating systems this year. As the previous report proposed, Apple will present iOS 26, iPados 26, MacOS 26 and Watchos 26 on WWDC25 next week, Intetead of iOS 19 and iPados 19.

Although this is not mentioned, Apple does not have to bring Apple Intelligence-Contest Functions to reduce resources. Apple could limit its AI features to newer models such as Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 2.

Another edition of Watchos can focus on small upgrade USABI

Given that last year’s Watchos 11 is already the main update, Apple will seem to focus on less improvement in quality of life this year. Another recent leak indicated that Watchos 26 will open the Apple Watch control center to third -party widgets. This should be much stronger.

Apple also allegedly allows users to customize the Apple Watch control center directly from the Watch application to their access and personalization.

One of the key peaks of Watchos 26 could be the new redesign inspired by Vistos. Apple obviously makes the same changes in the user interface in all its other operating systems.
